J'ignore s'il a raison mais, trois ans, c'est le temps qu'a duré ma participation au webzine littéraire Best Seller Consulting News où j'animais une rubrique Jazz Club en duo avec le Prestigieux Juan Carlos HERNANDEZ "

Au départ, l'initiative semblait belle. Une équipe jeune et dynamique, animée par un rédacteur en chef basé à Montpellier, prête à faire découvrir des livres, des films, des BD, de la musique, des photographies hors des circuits promotionnels de la société spectaculaire marchande. Tous bénévoles, unis par l'amour de l'art. Tous ensemble, tous ensemble, Oui!

Puis je remarquais que l'animatrice de la rubrique Littérature jeunesse était partie parce qu'elle ne supportait plus de travailler gratuitement, ce qui lui ne paraissait pas professionnel. Je remarquais aussi qu'il fallait me battre sans cesse avec le rédacteur en chef pour que les articles soient publiés correctement avec le bon titre, la bonne photographie, les bons liens vers Juan Carlos Hernandez, les artistes et votre serviteur. Enfin, je notais qu'il y avait de plus en plus de publicité sur les pages du magazine, que le nombre de lecteurs augmentait, d'après le rédacteur en chef mais que, pour autant, il n'était toujours pas question de payer les auteurs du magazine un centime d'euro.

J'ai un métier et ne vis pas de mes chroniques. Juan, lui, est un photographe professionnel. Il vit de la vente de ses photographies. Il me les prête pour ce blog parce qu'il n'y a pas de réclame dessus, que ma démarche n'est pas commerciale et que nous sommes amis de longue date. Prêter gratuitement des photographies pour un magazine qui vit de la publicité, ce n'est pas son truc et cela ne me convient pas non plus.

Alors, j'ai demandé au rédacteur en chef, Nicolas Vidal (rien à voir avec Sébastien Vidal du Duc des Lombards, TSF Jazz et autres lieux) les comptes de son entreprise avec les dépenses et les recettes pour en avoir le coeur net. J'avais posé là une question plus que dérangeante, outrageante même. Le sieur Nicolas Vidal a donc décidé de cesser toute collaboration avec Juan et moi. Cela nous évitera de nous battre avec lui à l'avenir. Nous ne sommes pas Témoins de Jéhovah. Ni Juan ni moi n'acceptons de travailler gratuitement pour des gens qui gagnent leur vie avec notre travail. Danseurs, oui! Gogos, non!

Je viens d'apprendre que le sieur Nicolas Vidal démarche les maisons d'édition pour qu'elles insèrent des réclames moyennant phynances sur son site sans indiquer que le dit site est entièrement l'oeuvre de bénévoles sauf lui, bien sûr. Les deniers ainsi récoltés vont donc intégralement dans la bourse de ce drôle. C'est dire son outrecuidance.

Nos aventures continuent sur ce blog, sur le blog de Juan Carlos HERNANDEZ, sur ulike et paperblog qui reprennent automatiquement, dès publication, chaque article de ce blog, sur facebook et twitter grâce à Juan, sur vos blogs, vos sites, vos forums, vos courriels selon votre bon plaisir respectables lectrices, estimables lecteurs.

The movement #OccupyWallStreet also known as #TakeWallStreet is clearly growing since their first protest last Saturday (07/19/2011).

Today, they were in Union Square, not "only" marching around the Financial District.

Concerning the photos you will see below, I can testify about the blond woman in the first photos that she only shouted "Take the streets" and nothing else and that was the only reason the New York City Police Department (NYPD) arrested her so brutally

I don't know why they arrested the others on the photos.

The NYPD communicated to the press that they arrested 85 people .. most of them because were blocking the traffic. More official information here

Tuesday 20th of September 07h20 AM New York Time, I was taking photos to the pacific supporters of #OccupyWallStreet ( https://occupywallst.org/) when, Justin, who was speaking with a megaphone (considering the big noise around the LIBERTY Square located on the Financial District of Manhattan , New York) has been brutally and for obscure reasons by the NYPD.

Take a look to my coverage with a little bit of Art and humour including a sad and frequent street photo I take just 3 minutes after the arrest very near of what it is called LIBERTY Square and where the protesters are based since Saturday 19th of September.

It's time to remember the First Amendment of the US Constitution : "The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances."

I am right now in New York for a jazz trip but when I heard about the movement #TakeWallStreet and #OccupyWallStreet, I took my photo bag in order to covering what is certainly the beginning of the US "indignados".

All the financial district around Wall Street had been closed by thousands of police officers. Those were much more than the pacific protesters without apparent leader but these were stronger, these ARE stronger. Yes, I'm convinced that People have the Power, that they have always the last word.

REVEALING THE VIRILITY OF THINGS

How to begin at the beginning:

"When are you going to stop asking too much from life."

His words fall in to broken pieces on the cold ground.

Their echo reaches her tired dimming soul.

Feline’s patience will force a smile.

Tensing for a glimpse of his swaying mood.

Between her face and his, the softness of a child is taking form and vanishes.

No way to bring back lost love.

Thirst for love, thirst for ecstasy,

rare pearls in the palm of her hand,

transformed to cicadas with their

long monotonous song.

Music score for Doom.

Like a Horn of Plenty, the Messenger's Bag spills out a haze of Joy and Sad.

Memories found and lost.

The blue sea flickers like a zoetrope, and the simmering light alternates in quick succession. Suddenly the brilliant Sun leeches the landscape of all Colors.

The desire, passion... close, so close.

Only sea and sky the limits between them.

Hollow whispers that none of them can hear.

In the shadow a man, a young man,

caresses a woman. The stroke of his hand

erases the wrinkles around her eyes,

and returns some of the youthful

Luster on her graying hair.

Her voice murmurs hauntingly without

Vocabilaire, paling every word, speaking

In sentences..

Mind runs dry.

The yearning, the need, the “Never More” choking every heart beat.

“Remember for hours I was gazing

Into your eyes... still didn't know us.”

Swimming in a murky river, the bodies

Try to reach the familiar banks.

Trembling, trembling so...

With eyes closed to see.

The island is lost and the wind vanishes resistance.

Time brings happiness.

Time kills time.

Welcome friend, or enemy.

Mine, First Love, began with a caress.

Muzzle, neck, legs, my hands run over my Horse's Splendid body.

Then a word carefully chosen, or Silence.

That was a pure Love's Joy!

Eternal to Be.

Ah Love, you only stay with Love,

To make Happy.

Stay young, he once said, tossing her

slender body up in the air.

There were kisses, summer rhymes, caresses.

Descending in his young arms, on a sea of anemones,

felt his Kiss, his lips ... and Love.

Exuberance full strength.

Rapido Con Brio.

Ah Love, you only stay with Love,

To make Happiness.

Like a Horn of Plenty, the Messenger's Bag spills out a haze of Joy and Sad.

Memories lost and found.

The invisible wounds within,

suspended passions, simple desires

waiting to be revived, to be felt again,

to have a second chance, bending on hard cold ground never to return.

Souls are cleaving to reach...without hope.

A knife suspends from the sky never known where-when will drop to cut.

This sky soon will be starry but the stars don't care, they have their own life.

Angels are not real.. Make their own life.. Who will care.

The night shrinks to nothing.

Stillness.

The Rhythmical clock sounds out of breath.

His distant gaze reflects a Forest Burning..

Flames dancing in a young woman's form,

calling erotic verses echoing his lust desire.

Faces light up for a moment of flash

to disappear In an ebony darkness.

His desire will fall on a cold marble bed on Time's Call.

Doesn't take much time for evil to stage.

The soul wants to Be, to feel the touch in the young woman's arms,

Deep in her arms, on her inviting softness..

breathing her Love, Quiver that take his breath away.

But Everything still, only the sound of the rattling time.

Stillness is an invitation to death inside, nothing will be revived.

Is softness in silence.. Hurting Stills.

This Life will be viewed behind a misty glass.. creating healing illusions.

Their footsteps will echo through empty corridors of time...

Perhaps a little night's music will bring a sliver of reality past..

sans prelude of herald melodies.

Time steals love... No ransom.

No living back the taken.

Time steals time.

"Don't let the children go through the smoldering gaverous fields..

their innocence will make deep holes in their souls."

In a spike of light she will see the first

wrinkles on his forehead..the lost desire

in empty eyes.

Tonight let's put away the Real!

I'm glad to collaborate for a second time with the english poet Gwylym Owen.

I proposed him to wrote a poem inspired on this photograph I took in Barcelona (August 2010) and in a splendid song composed by Van Morrison "Into the Mystic". You will be able to listen this song activating the player below the Gwylym's prose.

INTO THE MYSTIC

For the mystical mind fly's, into the oblivion of a souls eye

Trusting an unseen plan, being guided by the unknown

Blinded by the light and obscured views, of constant truths

Showered rays in musical arrays and light waves

Lantern high and in the eye, of narrowed, certain pathways.

Heading toward the higher frequencies, resonates being

Now start seeing, looking out a window: No! It does not glow.

Now listen and look within your heart, be smart from the start.

Grande braderie le samedi 5 mars à la "Carte Aux Trésors" : une brocante socialement utile

Bonjour,

Ceux qui suivent ce blog ont peut-être vus mon reportage effectué au printemps 2010 pour une belle association à but non lucratif de Genève "La Carte Blanche" qui aide à leurs domiciles des personnes en difficulté.

Ils ont ouvert récemment une brocante formidable "La Carte Aux Trésors" que je suis allé photographier en décembre 2010.

Vous trouverez quelques photographies ci-dessous grâce auxquelles vous aurez un aperçu des locaux et surtout de l'assortiment de leurs trésors.

Ce n'est par hasard que je publie cet article aujourd'hui car ils organisent une grande braderie samedi 5 mars 2011 de 10h à 16h ! Le bénéfice des ventes ira à l'association afin d'assurer un peu plus son autofinancement.

Leurs locaux se trouvent au 51, route du Nant d'Avril à Vernier (vers Ikea). Si vous avez une question préalable vous pouvez les contacter par email .

Finalement, je vous informe que les horaires normaux d'ouverture sont le lundi de 10h à 12h et le jeudi de 13h30 à 16h.

Courez-y et vivement que la brocante soit vide à 16h

MANIC DEPRESSION

You know the feeling

I know you do

it begins deep in the belly

a stirring of the entrails

an igneous eruption of emotion

firing torrid blood to every extremity

You know how it feels

I know you do

that edginess of lacerated nerves

riding the chafed surfaces

of skin and bones

the itch of containment

Admit it, you know the feeling

I know you do

the snap of synapses on overload

a drumbeat of tension

pinpricks tattooing their path

from toe to head

Yes, you know how it feels

I know you do

but is it joy or is it pain?

it makes no difference

because all you need

all you know or want to know

is release

Lost Moments

Encased, within enveloping Time-Spatial Curves
Cosmic ray showers, fade as Muons decay
Swallowed whole, in that great ocean of sands
Likened to the silence, in-between Musical notes
Memory evokes such, wonderfully fond tales;
Cheap impersonations, that hardly fill the void;
Of stolen moments in, transitory Manifestation.
Hustle and bustle, tempered by the mild gentle wind.
Ebbing and flowing, toing and froing.
Untouched by even, the most severest, of frost.
A young boy never standing still, a childhood lost.
A moppet's memory, of scented meadows, freshly cut.
The way the scent fades, as the years pass.
Those treasured moments never seem to last.
Chasing them is a pointless and thankless task;
And as the Grand 'Ammon's horn', starts to stir and trip
On Neptune's vehicle in the high seas of the Hippocampus
Click, click, Clack, there's only one logical fact.
Steal your future back, Conjure up: 'Omnipresent Style',
Live, every waking instant, as if it were your last.
Fill all of those, pilfered Flashes, with moments; worth stealing.
Too busy fashioning, to look back, creating stolen moments;
That's the task, that will always last, this kind of trice is always nice.
So the choice is yours: Celebrate or Regret: "Stolen Moments."
Though - as you swoosh through; Fleeting, flashes;
Cherish and adore, as they do unfold,
For, surely this is the definition, of purest Gold.

Once more, she was inspired by one of my photographs to write a beautiful poem. Her style, as always, is modern poetry at it's best!

A Sliver of A Winter's Night

Memory still holds the faintest gleam that soothes my intimate energy.
I smothered the fragrant dance, but its flame and force still leaps,
revealing my soul to light.

None of us can fathom feelings the same.

His dream–dusted cloak is now hiding alight wings that want to take me away,
but none of us knows this...

Give me your heart and soul...

Moving with a swift motion he wrote like a pencil the letters in the air.

I read the essence of them one letter at a time and however I start and finish, the word is only one: LOVE

The burning eyes of desire scorch-tear with their flames that won't die wherever they glance, are smalling to a dark dot... this

I am soul-naked now and I see my breathing words engraved on a marble pad to be read eternally... absurdity, drollery I didn't unmake...

I want to emerge before my soul's nakedness reveals,

to speak before the stars faint into light and images start to change...
l want to align with my own rhythm before I'm swept into his world...

This city ablaze in nocturnal light displays an antithesis as the neon lights start to faint like little fireflies’ sparkles, reflecting on the sleek streets where the melting snow is drawing his love letter on the ground to be seen...

Soon will be the end of night; the day will comfort the sleepless.

This moment is sent by your hand I held.

This voice I hear: “Tell me will you ever love anyone or anyme?”

These words are the offspring of his desire, spreading onto the glistening ground to take deep roots that in time his desperation will feed...

When the day's light makes its grand entrance I will see him reduced to his smile...

A warm feeling wraps the body and soul in light that will lead the way, even if these stars are shining on someone else’s sky...

The distance shows me a harp's strings, vibrating still...

“You are Aphrodite's rose” my wakeful dreams will tell you.

At the end of the path, I hear our festering talk, on and off again... with voices not wanted...

To love and be loved... isn't what the harp voice sings? I’ll love to that!

Cette exposition est impulsée par la votation concernant l'initiative contre les armes du 13 février 2011 et à laquelle j'invite mes compatriotes Suisses à voter et faire voter "OUI". Evitons des drames, sauvons des vies ( lises cela svp )

"Qui joue avec qui ?" - Mon soutien à l'initiative sur les armes du 13.02.2011

Chers lecteurs,

J'ai eu le privilège d'organiser une session photo en décembre 2010 pour le journal du "Groupe pour une Suisse Sans Armée" (GSSA) avec des enfants et des armes afin de soutenir l'initiative "Protection Contre la Violence des Armes" qui sera votée par le peuple suisse le 13 février 2011.

J'appelle à voter et faire voter OUI à cette initiative. Les premiers sondages sont encourageants certes mais j'appelle aussi ceux qui ont l'intention de voter OUI de ne pas oublier de voter. Il est si simple de voter en Suisse, soyons responsables et évitons une bonne centaine de suicides par année .. sans compter les drames familiaux et les nombreux blessés.

Concernant le suicide .. un seul chiffre : en Suisse l'indice de suicide via des armes à feu est 3 fois supérieur à n'importe quel pays européen (http://www.swissinfo.ch/fre/dossiers/la_suisse_des_records/records_d_europe/Suicides_par_balle,_le_record_dont_personne_n_est_fier.html?cid=8476506 )

Voici ce que contient l'initiative :

Elle demande à réduire l’accès aux armes :

1° En instaurant une clause du besoin pour acquérir une arme.

2° Comme pour les chasseurs, en contrôlant les capacités nécessaires pour avoir une arme.

3° En créant un registre des armes pour pouvoir suivre les armes vendues entre particuliers.

4° En déposant à l’arsenal les armes militaires et en ne les remettant plus aux militaires ayant terminé leurs obligations.

5° En soutenant des collectes d’armes et en contribuant à la limitation internationale des armes légères.

L’initiative ne touche pas aux tirs obligatoires, au tir sportif (et fêtes de tir), à la chasse et aux collections d’armes. Mais c’est chez ces tireurs que l’on rencontre le plus de résistance à l’initiative et c’est dommage, car c’est eux qui, par une attitude responsable, compréhensive et éthique, sont le plus à même de sauver des vies.

Pour terminer vous trouverez ci-dessous, chers lecteurs, mes photographies qui sont parues dans le numéro de janvier du GSSA, en commençant par la couverture et ensuite disséminées dans tout le journal racontant ainsi une histoire, non pas une "jolie petite histoire".

A FINE LINE

Standing on the fine line

between the incandescent opulence of living

and the somber plateau

of a forgotten life

he ponders his uphill climb

steeling himself against the minions of delusion

and a blinding storm of memories.

Anxiety and dismay etch lines

across his skin

as he wages war with phantoms

intent on nothing less

than the theft

of the man behind the eyes.

Perdido? No.

If you were to approach him

and look closely in his eyes

the man he was

is still the man he is

he isn't lost at all

he's simply gathering strength.

Vital Lift

I don’t remember when the waves brought me here on these pebbles where roses grew just waiting my arrival.. my voice engraved on their petals echoing the voice I fear to hear:

The music, sudden, may end..

Among the scorched seaweeds and through the light and darkness I possess, it is me you behold..

I will sink to the ocean floor only to emerge more beautiful, to grow endurable..

and it is we I behold..

Astonished eyes that look always around for something or other to burn with their fires, are locked on this vision..

I am the open sea, you can become whatever I made of you..
I am the current you always kept coming to..

Taking one more quick breath and a second one, I am writing it now on my own as a healing balm that brings my soul to life.. kinesis rather than will.

With gongs and glangs the messengers I wasn’t expecting brought their sounds and words.. I don’t recognize what they say, I fear..

Down in time..

This radiant woman that stands before you starts to unravel like a flower’s petals and her unfolding, you may think, is yours and nobody else’s.

Inside the bud you sense the dense force of the dancer’s weight that leaps like flame.. let her breath bestow on you.. a vital lift.

The lips that open petal to petal to whisper.. are melting the words like lead and everything starts and stops with those lips.. their mystery is crafted in your soul..

Sleep is falling into dreams that may deepen to a nightmare.

Down in time..

Seduction takes on a brutal strength now, and soon the girl who emerged from the sea foam will entice you to expertly love her..

You may never ever want to snap out of this..

Remember our souls once they desired to part ways with the body now feel a deeper thirst in a place that all is dry.

Between us now the night’s sky steeped with stars that are still burning to speak our destiny, our mark.

The heart wants to find release after all that pounding that transformed the fragrant dance..

and so,

as I nestle inside my soul my vision expands and refracts, enlarging things that may be better kept at a distance..

Love will prevail..

An ascetic allegro plays now.. I enter.. steeped in a kaleidoscope still hanging on by a fainting gleam.

I accept who we are with the same breath that takes our breath away.
